Back from Belgrade

I finally went back to Belgrade.
It was going to be all or nothing.
It turned out to be more than everything.

All my love to Becca, Livie and Kayliana.

Now I have to find a title for my series. "Fragments" or "Anyday Now" or "Long Pond, ME" or "Instances" or "Pillow Book".
I'm open to suggestions too.

Cheating Tea

Last year, we were asked to produce an ephemeral drawing.
I made a series of 5 tea leaves readings.
They were booklets.
There was a velum page on top with the drawn things I saw.
This was page 2 and 3.

Based on real interpretations, nothing made up...
I feel bad about this.

Happy Valentine's Day.

Magic Lantern Show

This is not a drawing.

It is a photograph of an etching from a 1915 Math Book.
Thanks.

Now If I could just stop sneezing.

Gone for Good

Dear Madonna

I know I never really knew you
But somehow I miss you

Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Locum Tenens

If he leaves for a week,
I'll be there for awhile.
I'm a pretty good stand-in,
But I can't ask you the same.
You can't take over until May.

I wish you could though.

The Friction of Distance

"This is when i forget to breathe. All the things i scripted, they sound unfounded."
_I Was A Kaleidoscope, 2006

"I think that it's brainless to assume that making changes to your window's view will give a new perspective."
_Blacking Out The Friction, 2006

I'm posting these that I made in Cegep because I like them better than most of the work I've done in the past years.
I'm also feeling nostalgic,
and inadequate.

These photos mean a lot.

(I love Boston)

Park 'n Ride

“Know yourselves – be infertile, and let the earth be silent after ye.”
Peter Wessel Kapffe

In October we went to Salem for Holloween. We slept in the car in a very sketchy parking lot and it felt like statu mortis.

We survived.

Being convinced of your own imminent death is strange.
I don't think I've ever slept as well as I did that night.

This was taken in honour of Laura F.
I guess whoever left that there hit puberty between the park and the ride.
